Welcome to HJIS Summer School for Week 3 (July 25 - 29)!
I am Brian Kudo-Li, the Grade 2 teacher at HJIS, and this is my third year at HJIS since coming to Japan from my hometown of Vancouver, Canada. I will be teaching the upper primary class for Grade 3 to Grade 6 students. I am excited to have your child join summer school.

Robot Art Project
Our big art project for the week will be designing a robot out of cardboard. It would be great if students can bring art materials to help decorate their robots. They could bring stickers, ribbons, cloth, extra cardboard, or anything they can find at 100 yen stores! Of course, we will have some supplies at the school.
