They had to make boats out of popsicle sticks and tape. They used the popsicle sticks to make the skeleton of the boat. Then they covered it with aluminum foil and duct tape to make it waterproof. They did a great job!
We tested them after snack time. Two boats held over 1 kilogram!
Then we had pool time. It was a little cold so some students went to the ICT room.
After lunch, we watched a cartoon about air pressure to prepare for our experiment on Friday.
Then we found pictures on the Internet for their research projects.
Reminders
- We will go crayfish fishing tomorrow. Students can bring buckets and containers if they want. Please make sure their names are on them.
- Students can bring bug spray or use the class' bug spray.
